We are very happy to welcome our new Microsoft Integration Consultant, Michael, to our growing Affinus team. Michael comes to us from Microsoft, where he has most recently been working as an Azure Microsoft Cloud Solutions Architect.
Now based in Portugal, Michael reached out to Affinus, as experts in Microsoft Azure and Biztalk integration, as he wanted to move back to a more hands on integration role, with greater customer involvement.
Michael says, “I enjoy implementing the integration solutions that I architect and seeing the difference this makes for customers and organisations. When I decided to move back into a more hands on integration role, Affinus, being a leading light in Azure and Biztalk integration and tooling development, was at the top of the list. Having enjoyed working with Simon and Kiran in the past was an additional bonus! I was delighted that they wanted me to join their team. I’ve enjoyed a warm welcome and I’m looking forward to the rich development opportunity and diverse challenges that working with Affinus offers.”
Having graduated in I.T., Michael started his career as a .Net Developer. He quickly developed a passion for Integration and the design and implementation of Microsoft solutions. For the last 14 years Michael has been working within the integration community, both as a contractor and for various companies, including Microsoft. He has built up a breadth of expertise and experience, having worked across a broad range of projects and sectors, including finance, telecom and gaming.
Michael’s second passion is for ‘anything with 2 wheels.’ He enjoys mountain biking and motorbiking, on and off road. Michael has even been known to hit the race track too. A project that poses a lesser passion is the enforced DIY in his family home. This project, along with his young family, takes up any remaining spare time.
