Today, we are proud to announce that Affinus has received ISO 27001:2015 certification for Information Security Management and 9001 certification for Quality Management.
By meeting the extensive criteria set out by QMS International, this certification allows us to demonstrate our commitment to continually monitor, manage and improve the quality of our products and services, providing peace of mind for our clients and stakeholders.
Managing Director, Mark Hunt says, “As a small technology company delivering professional Microsoft integration services, what differentiates us from others in the field is our dedication to delivering a quality service for our clients. Our relationships require us to work closely with our clients, accessing sensitive and sometimes confidential information. Whilst we have always implemented robust processes to protect our clients data at all costs, we wanted to go one step further and seek independent verification that our processes were of a world-class standard.”
ISO 27001 is the internationally recognised Standard for Information Security. It is a process-based approach established and updated by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), the world’s largest developer of international standards. It sets out the policies and procedures you need to protect data and manage sensitive information. Completing the process helps you identify, prevent and address risks – so you can demonstrate that your business has the systems and controls in place to combat any threats to your data integrity.
Meanwhile, ISO 9001, the world’s most popular quality management system standard, helps businesses prove their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
“Having completed the rigorous external audit, receiving these two certifications for the quality of our processes is a testament to the passion and dedication the Affinus team have for delivering and top class service and keeping our client information secure.”Previous Post Back to Blog
